Description
A crispy Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls Air Fryer recipe with creamy crab and cream cheese filling, golden wrappers, and easy air fryer cooking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup imitation crab meat or lump crab meat, chopped or flaked
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten, for sealing
- Avocado oil spray or neutral cooking spray
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and combined.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper in a diamond position on a clean surface.
- Add a modest spoonful of filling to the center, slightly closer to the bottom point.
- Fold the bottom point up over the filling.
- Fold in both side points.
- Roll the wrapper tightly toward the top point.
- Brush the edges and final point with beaten egg to seal.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
- Arrange the egg rolls in a single layer and spray the tops lightly with oil.
- Air fry at 370°F for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Serve hot with sweet chili sauce, duck sauce, or creamy spicy dip.
Notes
Do not overfill the wrappers or the rolls may burst.
Always seal the edges well with egg wash or water.
Spray the rolls with oil so the wrappers turn golden and blistered.
Cook in batches if needed so the basket does not get overcrowded.
Leftovers reheat best in the air fryer.
