Description
These sweet, sticky, and savory mongolian ground beef noodles are the perfect weeknight dinner. Made with ground beef, a rich garlic-soy glaze, and your favorite noodles, this dish comes together in under 30 minutes—and tastes better than takeout.

- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 8 oz noodles (lo mein, spaghetti, ramen, or rice noodles)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for slurry)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add garlic and ginger to the beef. Stir and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch with water to form a slurry. Add to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet. Toss well to coat them with the sauce.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious mongolian ground beef noodles!

Want it spicy? Add a teaspoon of sriracha or chili garlic sauce.
