- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp neutral cooking oil (like canola or avocado)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and toss with cornstarch.
- Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and chili flakes in a small bowl.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and crisp.
- Add sauce, stir, and cook 2 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps.
Notes
For gluten-free: use tamari instead of soy sauce.
For spice: add chili garlic paste or sriracha.
Store in airtight container up to 3 days.
