Description

Halloween Whoopie Pies are soft, spooky treats everyone loves! Make them in under 30 minutes with this fun and easy recipe.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box Devil’s Food cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • ¾ cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 box chocolate fudge instant pudding (4-serving)
  • 2 tubs vanilla cake icing (16 oz each)
  • Orange food coloring gel
  • Edible black glitter or Halloween sprinkles
  • Powdered sugar (optional)
  • Black licorice (optional)
  • Candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets.
  2. Mix cake mix, pudding, eggs, oil, and water.
  3. Scoop batter into 18–36 small rounds.
  4. Bake for 7–10 minutes. Cool completely.
  5. Tint icing with orange food coloring.
  6. Pipe icing onto one half, top with another to make sandwiches.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles, candy eyes, or licorice legs.
  8. Serve, store, or chill for later.
