Description
A light, cleansing, and nutrient-packed green detox broth recipe made with anti-inflammatory vegetables, herbs, and healing spices. Perfect for bloating, gut support, or a post-indulgence reset.

			- 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 1 small onion, chopped
 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
 - 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
 - 2 celery stalks, chopped
 - 1 zucchini, chopped
 - 1 cup broccoli florets
 - 6 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
 - 2 cups fresh spinach
 - 1 cup kale, chopped
 - ½ cup fresh parsley leaves
 - Juice of 1 lemon
 - Salt and black pepper to taste
 - Optional: chili flakes, turmeric, or apple cider vinegar
 
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until fragrant.
 - Add celery, zucchini, and broccoli. Stir for another 2–3 minutes.
 - Pour in the vegetable broth. Bring to a gentle simmer.
 - Once simmering, add spinach, kale, and parsley. Stir well.
 - Season with salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes or turmeric. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
 - Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice and adjust seasoning.
 - Serve warm or store for meal prep.
 
Notes
Don’t boil after adding greens—this preserves color and nutrients.
For more flavor, add miso paste or kombu while simmering.
Freeze in single portions for up to 3 months.
Pairs well with a light protein or grain on the side.
