Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 preferred)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup cheddar or American cheese (cubed or shredded)
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or biscuit dough)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp melted butter (optional)
- ½ tsp garlic powder (for butter topping, optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and let cool slightly.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles (or divide biscuit dough into flattened circles).
- Add 1 tbsp of the cooked beef and 1 cube of cheese to each dough piece. Fold and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
- Optional: Brush with egg wash or garlic butter for a golden, flavorful crust.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes.
- Place bombs in air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Let cool 2–3 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce!
Notes
Don’t overfill the dough or it may burst during cooking.
Customize with extras like pickles, mustard, or sautéed onions inside.
Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer for 3–4 minutes.
Freeze cooked bombs for up to 2 months and reheat directly from frozen.
